You should have a franchise model or prototype for your business.\nNot that you want to franchise, expand or even sell your business some day. You\nmust have a franchise prototype, otherwise you simply own a low paying job that\nkeeps you broke and frustrated. Well, at least frustrated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me ask you, when is the last time you\ntook a full on vacation with the family completely unplugged from your\nbusiness? If that\u2019s not an option for you right now. Let\u2019s make it an option in\nthe next 12 \u2013 18 months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hey, at least you can have the option. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 7 specific areas you need to consider in\nyour franchise prototype process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Primary\nAim<\/li><li>Strategic\nObjectives<\/li><li>Organizational\nStrategy<\/li><li>Management\nStrategy<\/li><li>People\nStrategy<\/li><li>Marketing\nStrategy<\/li><li>Systems\nStrategy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These 7 areas will fine-tune your plan for\nthe ultimate level of success and fulfillment in business. In this lesson we\nare going to cover the first three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Primary Aim<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s essential in business development to set\ngoals and see a vision for the future. This needs to go beyond the\nbusiness and you need to think about what you want out of life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What do you dream about? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you see your success unfolding?\nKnowing and understanding these things will give you the momentum to get\nstarted and the stamina to see it through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take a minute to write your vision story down.\nBe very detailed and specific, and put emotion into the process. Now make\ncopies and tape your vision story your desk and bathroom mirror, make it your\ncomputer desktop and phone screen for a constant reminder of what you\u2019re aiming\nfor.<br>\n<br>\nBy the way, one of the first eClasses in my <a href=\"http:\/\/apmasterycoach.com\/myguidedtour\/\">eLearning System<\/a> covers\nexactly how to design your Vision Story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strategic Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strategic Objectives are essential in taking\nyour business from surviving to thriving. All of these objectives should offer\nsolutions for how to get to your primary aim. There are many things you can use\nto set strategic objectives, but here are a couple of the most popular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Money:\n     Setting monetary goals is a great, simple way to see how you are doing at\n     any point in the game. It\u2019s easy to measure and easy to find adjustments\n     to help meet this goal.<\/li><li>Worthy\n     Opportunities: When considering partnerships and other business\n     opportunities you need to think about whether or not they will help you\n     reach your primary aim. Those that will, are the best opportunities to\n     seriously consider. If the opportunity will not help you reach your\n     primary aim, you must decline. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The key in setting standards and goals is not\nto limit you or stress yourself out. You need to find some quantifiable systems\nyou can use to measure your progress toward your primary aim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are just two suggestions, but make\nsure, no matter what standards you set, you are paying attention to the\ndetails, as these are two of the biggest keys to your success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Organizational Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strength of your organizational structure\ncan make or break your business, so it\u2019s important to take the time to put\ntogether a solid structure for your business to grow from. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Generally a company is organized around the\nroles and responsibilities that need to be taken care of on a daily basis and\nthe personalities that need to fulfill those roles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No matter what roles and responsibilities\nyou\u2019ve defined for your employees, you must always keep your personal primary\naim separate from your company\u2019s primary aim or mission statement. Once you\u2019ve\nidentified the primary aim, vision story, for your company it will be easy to\nset up a position structure that will work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t forget to put together position\ncontracts. Your employees should sign a statement of their roles and\nresponsibilities. This helps keep them clear for you, the employee and other\nemployees\/vendors or other individuals. This one task is overlooked by almost\nevery single company I have ever personally worked for, and those I\u2019ve worked\nwith. And it\u2019s a game changer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see how these areas all work together\nto build a solid structure on which to build your business.
